Reputable Rental sites

Hi. I have Hilton Head booked mid July and have no idea if that Disney resort will be open. Even if it is open, not sure we will be feeling safe to travel there. I am looking at the option of renting the reservation out. I have never done this and am unsure of process to rent and the best reputable sites to do this. I would appreciate any advice on
the following;
-most reputable sites;
-is this a simple process;
-do I need to commit the reservation or can I pull out if I don't have a renter by a certain time;
-best rate range to expect;
-what is my risk
-pitfalls or things to avoid.

I would not recommend any DVC rental agencies at this time. They are slammed with trying to handled all of the canceled March and April reservations. Could you cancel the reservation? DVC is putting borrowed points back to the original UY and if you haven’t passed your banking deadline, you can bank current UY points into next year.

TBH, don’t expect too much if you do decide to rent your confirmed reservation. The rental agencies don’t pay well for 11-month reservations. You won’t even recover your dues for a last-minute reservation.

I think you’ll be just fine by July, both for resort being open and safety. My sister lives in SC, and she said the governor has the wheels in motion to open the state.

thank you for your reply. We have to use these points by September 30 this year. Unfortunately, we do not have any further flexibility this coming summer. DVC indicates we can bank them in RCI as an option for 2 years by mid August.
