This was our day for EPCOT. From any research I did it looked like the best park for a weekend visit was EPCOT - well my sources were correct. We got there at 8:45am - in time for rope drop! I thought rope drop was fun! The double decker bus of characters stopped by to say hi! (My husband thought the whole rope drop thing was a waste of time!) When the rope finally dropped mostly everyone raced past all of the characters to Mission Space or Test Track! We walked right on Test Track which was a great ride! The part where you race around the track was fast! We got off Test Track, got FP for Test Track to do again and walked right on Mission Space! MS was also great - the way it made you feel was so different from any other ride! The kids loved it (so did I). My DH felt it was a little to intense for him - a one and done deal! We then went to Living with the Land which sems to get bad reviews but was a really good ride. It was interesting without being boring. It was then time for our FP for Test Track which we again loved the second time around! Then we went for a walk around the World Showcase. We thought we could get a good lunch at a fun country but the kids wanted American food! So we ate mediocre hot dogs and cheeseburgers at the Liberty Tree counter service - the only plus for that place was that it was inside and cool! then we went in Maelstrom which I really liked - there were different twists to that ride which made it fun! Then we went on the ride in Mexico which was boring (all of us thought so!) After Mexico we made our way out to take an afternnon break. But along the way we had to stop in the Ice Cool Station to test out the sodas (Germany and Isreal get thumbs up and of course Beverly gets a thumbs down ) Then we walked right on Spaceship Earth. This must have a face lift since the last time I was on it (2002) - it seemed so much better! Back to the pool for some R & R.
About 5 o'clock the kids and I went back to EPCOT for round two (DH needed a break!). We pretty much walked right on Mission Space then we went to the Living Seas which was unimpressive. We then went into Imagination to play with the photo computers until they closed. We took a nice walk through the gardens to the World Showcase and walked all around it! We had a soft prtzel along the way which was the best soft pretzel anyone of us has tasted! We just could stay awake to stay for Illuminations so went took a slow walk to the car and went back to the villa.
