Report on Boy Who Died on Mission: Space

I remember this when it first happened in June... I would NEVER put a 4 year old on this ride - healthy or not! The parents obviously didn't realize what was going to happen on the ride...

I think its an awesome ride - an incredible thrill.. They should put an higher age limit on it maybe.... I don't know.

I have taken a spin on M:S with a barfer. My daughter and I were paired with another man and his daughter. My daughter (who thinks vomitting is very humorous for some reason) grabbed a barf bag when we sat down and started joking around like she was going to get sick. Seven year olds! Anyhow, the guy at the other end of the pod had a "not so amused" and very aprehensive look on his face.

Sure enough, as we were getting off, I noticed that he was carrying a sealed bag that appeared nice and full. You can thank me later for the visual.

A friend of mine who works in the Epcot custodial department tells me they continue to have as many as 30 "protein spills" to clean up after each day.

Well your source seems to be contradicting itself -

I also cornered some ride attendants and quizzed them about the upchuck factor. All the CMs I asked said they've been averaging only one or two in-ride accidents per day. Some days go by with no puking whatsoever. This is comparable to other thrill rides and simulators. It is significantly less than the original version of "Body Wars," which probably holds the title as Disney's all-time vomit king.

Disney's all-time vomit king????? Where's the outrage!!!!!!!!!!

Name another attraction that has barf bags and about 1 barf per 100 guests

Well obviously Body Wars did not have barf bags, but judging from your own sources, I do believe this question should be rephrased.

Tell us – how many people should go to the hospital, how many children should die before you what to stop and see if there’s a problem? Give us your perimeters for a “safe” ride – how many deaths per riders?

You're taking a mighty big leap here. What didn't Disney do here? You keep trying to create an unfounded argument that there is a safety hazard surrounding M:S which you have absolutely no proof exists!

btw - There is no such thing as "safe" in this world.
