Report from friend at CSR right now...

It's the first time her family's been to WDW and they're having--of course!-- a great time. They're at CSR and I asked her what it's like since we've never stayed there. They're in Ranchos and she said the grounds are beautiful and the pool is terrific---loved going there at night. Her sons (8 and 4) loved climbing the rocks near their room. She mentioned they were a bit disappointed in the room in that it was "kind of beat up"...knicked/torn wallpaper is the only specific she mentioned, but added that it was fine since they were spending most of their time at the parks. They're switching resorts to PORFQ--another one we've never stayed at--and I'll let you know how they like it there. I know they're expecting rain and, since it's "resort day" for them, she's glad they'll be at a smaller, more compact resort.
Just thought I'd pass on yet another opinion!
