Repo Cruises available at Disneycruise.com

Hi,

I was playing around on the disneycruise.com site and noticed that the repo cruises are now showing availability. I don't recall the exact prices but a family of 3 (no availability for 4) was around $6500 for the eastbound cruise in a Category 12.

There was more availability on the westbound. The categories available were 10 through 12.

I guess people are changing their minds now that deposits will soon be due.

I just don't get it.

There are people on the wait list that DCL has not called, yet you can book directly online again.

I called DCL 2 weeks ago and was told this Cruise was sold out. I than had my TA check and we are now in Cat 12. I am hoping Cat 6 or better will come available in the coming weeks. Any imput on chances of this happening would be very helpful.

I don't think anyone can say for sure.
We are on the May repo - we also booked what was available and were put on a waitlist for what we really wanted. Ours came through just a couple of weeks ago - so looks like there is some shuffling going on.
I was told by a DCL rep several months ago that they were not even taking requests to be on the waitlist anymore since it was so long, so I am surprised to see some availability online as well.
I would think there might be even more shuffling when full payment comes due - but who knows?

the waitlist has apparently reopened because we were able to waitlist someone one or two weeks ago ... yet she hasn't been called, and rooms are available for booking on line.

Go figure.

There are cat 8's now available on the westbound, but nothing available on the eastbound. I'd say the chances are good for some more rooms to open for the westbound especially in the first two weeks of March since final payments are due March 15th.

I think we'll probably see more of this as we go through the year. People's lives change, things happen and sometimes they're forced to cancel. Great opportunity for those who wanna go, but I'd sure call everyday to DCL, since I'd not count on them calling you.

We were on the eastbound, had to cancel because of school, waitlisted for a cat 6 or better on the westbound but haven't been called. We saw this thread and figured maybe we should just try to get on the boat in any category. Well, we just got off the phone with DCL because the website wasn't taking reservations and we are now in a Cat 8 GTY and waitlisted for the cat 6. We are so excited to be going!! Thanks for the information!
