After you use your Tier I FP+ (in Epcot or DS), can you then replace it with another Tier I (if there is another Tier I available of course)?

What if you only had 2 to start with?

If I start out with only 2, 1 of them being a Tier I, and use it early in the day, can I fill out the 3rd with a Tier I? Will that work?

I believe, before you can make another tier 1 FP reservation you have to use the first 3. Only a single Tier 1 for the first 3 regardless of how you use them.

No, the system in the Tiered parks "knows" the FPs you have booked and used. You'll need to complete, or just tap your MB/ticket at the FP line and walk away, your initial 3 before you can attempt to book a 2nd Tier 1.

Thanks for your help. Thanks why these boards are so great!

Before the upgrade to the system in April, you could absolutely book just a Tier 1 and be eligible for another Tier 1 immediately. You had to cancel your Tier 2s before you got to the park. I have done this multiple times with Soarin' and with TSMM. I haven't been since the new interface launched, but I will be testing it out again in July. Fingers crossed that it still works. I only have FEA for my last day, and I'm hoping to snag TT.

It's been tested and Confirmed within the FP Superthread that the initial 3 must now be used before another Tier 1 can be booked. This was a major change in the system upgrade.

DISers have also confirmed that only allowing a FP to expire doesn't register as a "used" FP. That's why tapping and walking away from the FP line is the quickest way to use a FP.

Boo! Well, I don't need the tier 2s for anything, so I don't think I'll bother adding them.

From the super thread, it looks like you can get additional FPs after just using one at one park. Do tiers apply there? Can I book FEA as my only prebooked FP and then try for RNRC immediately after passing the tapstile? That would be way better than wasting my FPs at EP.

Do you only have to tap and walk away from the first tapstile or do you have to tap the one further in as well?

Yes. When park hopping, you can get a Tier 1 in the 2nd park of the day.

Most FP lines have stopped using the 2nd reader. But, CMs have reportedly told guests to tap and leave and it registers as being a used FP.
