Replacement outer 'rim' for custom D-Tech phone covers?

My son bought a custom D-tech phone cover in the summer. The back plate is fine, but the piece that runs around the outside of the phone has cracked in several places.

Is it possible to just buy a replacement surround?

I cracked that part of my case from D tech the same day I purchased it. It's been a couple months now and it's just falling apart I would also be interested in buying a replacement, but I'd be worried it would just crack right away again.

I don't have one of those, but if it is a standard 2 pc hardcase phone design, it might work with the rim part from a generic 2 pc case. Might want to look for one at 5Below and give it a try.

This would be good to know. While I just replaced my case last week, prior to that mine was being held together with superglue.

Resurrecting this old thread to see if anyone has found an answer since we have the same issue. DD loves her Dtech case and the printed part is fine but the edge has cracked. We don’t have any trips planned so we can’t get a replacement so I was hoping to find a way to replace the outer edge but keep her Jack and Sally picture.
