I have a floor model gooseneck lamp here at the lake with a 3-way switch (60w-100w-150w).. Love the lamp, however it came with a white plastic lamp shade that has become brittle and broke at the "collar" today..
The lamp shade itself does not screw on to the lamp, there's a black ring that you screw in to hold the lamp shade in place once you have held it up to the lamp.. The widest part of the shade (facing down) is about 11 and 1/4 inches around - the "collar" (where you hold it up to the lamp before securing it with this black piece) is just shy of 2" wide..
So basically it's not a traditional lamp shade - nor is it one that you "screw" on.. I've been searching online and just can't seem to find anything like it.. Not sure I kept the instructions that came with the lamp, so I can't contact the manufacturer..
Has anyone else had a lamp like this? And if so, have you ever had to replace the lamp shade?
This is basically the type of lamp, but the top bends down:
