Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered recently, but what is the opening date for the new Italian restaurant at Epcot, and are you able to make ADR's?
Thanks!

I maybe incorrect, but I believe it's opening back up the 1st of September. I also understand the Patina group is taking over, which I can vouch has some really great restaurants here in California's DTD.
I would try call Dining to see if they are taking ressies yet.

ETA: I just found this on allears:

L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in the Italy pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase would be closing August 31, 2007. The Patina Restaurant Group has been named as the operating participant for the restaurant beginning September 1. The Patina Group was one of the original operating participants at the Disneyland Resort's Downtown Disney district.

Doesn't say when they'd be reopening, though, huh?

I've read it both ways: short interregnum and long interregnum.

I made my ADR's on thursday & was told the restaurant will change over immediatly with no closure whatsoever and they are taking reservations although they don't know the menu.

when i called asked about the new italian place in epcot and told not yet

Alfredo's last will be August 31.
The Patina group takes over September 1.

I can't find where I read it but it said they will operate it on a generic sort of basis until it goes down for refurb in 2008 and it will reopen after that with their concept.

They also own Catal, Naples, and Tortilla Joes in Downtown Disney at DLR.

No guarantees it will be just like Naples or anything like it either before, or after their refurb. But here's a menu from Naples for your reading pleasure.

You can bum around their site and find out what else they own too.

I read that too and I thought I read it right here on the DisBoards. So it's not officially the "new" place until after they refurb.
