Repeating pictures from trip six years ago. I have a plan!

Our first trip to WDW was six years ago in 2002. We've gone back once each year except for last year. I usually try to take some pictures in the same places each year just for fun.

This time, I'm taking it up another notch to a higher level!

I scanned some pictures from our first trip and then I printed them out on a single sheet of paper in contact sheet mode. I'm bringing this (maybe even laminated!) with us. Then I can use if for a reference to take almost exact posed pictures again in the same places. That way we'll have really neat side by side pics from 2002 and 2008!

What do you think?

I'd love a pic of our DD11 on the resort bed with her stuffed animals again!

I love this idea! In fact, you have inspired me - I will look through out 2003 pictures and pick out a few to recreate. We leave for WDW next Friday.

DW and I did something similar on a much smaller scale... We went together to WDW for the first time on our honeymoon in 1997. We had a cast member take our picture in front of what was the old 20,000 Leagues ride. Every year, when we would go back, we would have a cast member take our picture in as close to that spot as we could. Since they have redone that area, the pictures no longer look the same.

We are going to have to come up with a more "permanent" picture spot!

I love the idea of repeats though and we may give this a try in December. We usually go to the World in May, but we went in December of 2004 with my parents and we will have to find some shots from that trip that we can recreate this time!
