repairing screen frame

Our house was broke into through the screen and the frame was all bent. I know how to repair the screen, but what about the frame? If it can't be repaired where do I go to get a new screen? Thanks

Doubt you can repair them, if they are like ours they are metal and once bent you cant really bend them back without breaking.

Home Depot has them. I just looked at home depot & they are for certain window manufactures.

Is there a construction salvage place in your area? Around here, it's called Re-Store and has all kinds of oddball material saved from the wrecking ball or donated from contractor extras.

Home Depot will have the frame and connectors. You just have to have a saw to cut them--the name escapes me right now for what kind of saw. Then you buy the screen. Or you can measure the size of the window and Home Depot will make it for you for a charge.

I am a Project Manager at a commercial glass shop. We usually carry screen framing metal in stock in various sizes. Check out a local glass/glazing company and they may be able to fix you up.
