I have a broken wheel on our large suitcase.
We have only used it a few times and this last trip, DH insisted on linking 2 bags on top of it and DRAGGGING is across the road to where we were getting picked up. the wheel is no longer round :rotfl: and the axel is not right.
It was not that expensive but it matches the other 9 pieces we have (think Space Balls "the royal matched luggage" and I had hoped to get a few more years out of it.

any ideas? Is it worth it to get it fixed?

We had a flat wheel on our blue MM luggage from Disney Shopping. DH took a rollerblade wheel and replaced it. Works fine. I guess it depends on the size of the wheel.

A lot of shoe repair shops can repair luggage; check your yellow pages.

If they replace one wheel they will replace both to insure that they are the same size so that the case will roll straight. Normally it costs about $30 to have it done.

thanks, that would be worth it since everything else is in decent shape. I'll call around, I never thought of a shoe repair place.
