Hi folks...
Just wanted to share a tip with you all. My 15yr old whirlpool dryer broke on me last week. I was devastated because we had just come home from a two week vacation and i had tons of laundry and not much cash left
. So we went to Sears to find a dryer that would stack on top of my front load washer. The only one that would work was $1000!!!
Determined to save the money I researched online how top fix a dryer that won't start. Thats when I came across a web site with appliance techs. I tried all the things the man advised me to try and we determined the problem was the timer. A replacement timer was around $100. I was able to find one used on ebay for $25, we installed it ourself and voila my dryer is fixed!!!!!
I am forever grateful for applianceblog!!!!!! Hope this helps anyone to save money on appliance repairs in the future!
