Because of irreconcilable differences between Kevin Cronin and Bruce Hall,the iconic REO is no more.

Kevin will continue touring under his name.

Such a shame to see the name retired so unceremoniously.

This is probably a good thing. With the name officially retired you won't see an original roadie with a band of random guys billing themselves as REO Speedwagon. Of course Cronin will be billed as "REO Speedwagon Lead Singer Kevin Cronin"...with a group of random guys.

It happens so often and is always hard to understand why band members who have been together so long can't just put their differences aside.
