"Renting" Vacation Club Points and Free Dining

So...I rented some points from a DVC member and am going in early Dec. If free dining comes out, can I take advantage of that or am I out of luck because I am going through DVC?

You cannot get free dining if you are renting points......

You will not be eligible for free dining (should it come out) as free dining requires you to pay rack rate for the room and purchase atleast a one day park ticket.
