I think we are decided on Vistana Villages but would like to know a bit more about how to purchase through a timeshare owner.

I assume the units are just the same as if we book direct?

I have checked quite a few websites but most (skyauction/condodirect) seem to be for stays in the near future. We want to book for April 2006 but there doesn't seem to be much on offer

Thanks
Helen

Are you interested in renting a week? We booked a few weeks ago on the Starwood website and reserved a 2 bedroom for $160/night. It's now up to $280/night. You may have better luck renting from someone at redweek.com or the tug site (sorry I don't have that link handy, but I'm sure if you search for "tug" on this site you'll find it).
Good luck. We really enjoyed our stay here 3 years ago.

Thanks for adding the link, Gary!!

We loved  the Vistana Resort and would stay there again any day, any time. We are looking for a similar spot in Fort Lauderdale. Stay there, you won't be disappointed.
