Can you rent strollers at various places in the parks or only when you first enter the park? I was thinking of playing it by ear, but my guys are 2 and 5 and if it would mean treking back to the front of the park, I will go ahead and do it first thing. Do they take a long time to rent (are the lines long if you get there when the park opens?), Is there a way to expedite renting them? Are they cumbersome to push?
Thanks-this will be our first trip and I don't want it ruined by tired out kiddos!

Stroller rental is located at the front of each park. Unfortunately, there are not other places to pick up strollers within the parks. However, if you rent one in the morning from MK and then switch to MGM, keep your ticket and it won't cost you anything for the second one. They aren't really cumbersome but not small either. I have never used a double stroller though so those might be more of a problem.

We always use an Orlando company called A Baby's Best Friend (www.abbf.com) to rent strollers and other items. You can see photos of the different types they offer on their website.

The ones we have had in the past from them are comfortable, clean, and they deliver to our hotel before we arrive. (They receive rave reviews on these boards). Very convenient, and we also have the stollers with us all the time for shopping, etc., not just at the parks.

Hope this helps.

Epcot is the exception to the "front of the park" rule. You can also rent strollers at Epcot at the International gateway.

At MK, where the lines do get long, in the early mornings they have "stoller express" Pay your money before you enter (cash), get a ticket to exchange for a stroller. We've never had significant lines anywhere else.

With a two year old you will want a stroller, and I'd just rent a double each day going into the park - which should fit both kids. You can't take your stroller out of the parks, but you can get a new one at a new park if you park hop the same day.

I like the Disney rentals a lot for older kids (like your five year old) who don't fit well in traditional strollers. (Except MGM which has horrible umbrella strollers, unless they've replaced those).

I would strongly rec. renting (or bringing) a double stroller for kids that young. It seems that most kids get tired out, esp. at the parks that are more spread out. I didn't have any trouble pushing a double, and my kids are older and probably heavier. Having it made a world of difference for us.

If you are going to more than one park on your trip, you can pre-pay for the number of days you need on your first day, and just show your receipt for express stroller pick-up each morning. It goes very quickly.

Have fun!!
