Renting questions

I was wondering a few things about renting. Specifically, what is a fair range of $ that a DVC member may charge me for a ressie?
Also, how far in advance should I post my reservation wanted request to make sure we can get it?

I would advise you to read the sticky threads at the top of the DVC/rent trade board.

Members can make reservations 11 months from the date of check in. You might want to start posting your needs now so a member can contact you and your reservation can be made at that 11 month booking window. A "reasonable" price would be $11-15 a point. You can find out how many points your reservation would "cost" by checking the point charts at the top of this page. Click on the "DVC point Charts" link.

If you want something special, like concierge at AKV, prepare to pay more for that reservation. If making the reservation requires more work by the owner, they may want to charge you more.
