Renting pts ?

Trying to figure out how much it would cost if I rented points from a member. If I wanted 120 BWV standard @ $10 a point that would be $1200.00. Right? Are there other costs involved ie taxes or whatever?

There are no other costs unless you decide to add on maid service.

If you are not a member, points are useless to you. What you want to purchase is a reservation made with DVC points by a member. Since a reservation requires a certain number of points per day, a reservation will require a certain number of points to make that reservation. Members who charge by the points (some charge by the reservation), usually charge in the range of $9-15 per point, depending on the number of points needed, the type of lodging required, the time their points are tied up in a reservation that they will not use, etc.

When they make reservation for you, they may require other fees, such as Paypal fees or other charges incurred by making the reservation. You would be responsible for paying for anything you charged on your Key to the World or any damages you incur at the DVC resort.
