Hello, renting points to aulani do u guys know if we get free parking and laundry? Thanks

I stayed on rented points in March of 2020. We received free parking, but not free tokens for laundry. But I’ve heard it all depends on which CM you talk to regarding the laundry tokens. Paying wasn’t a big deal. Paying for parking would have been a different story.

My humble opinion is that the self-parking at Aulani stinks and it's worth the splurge to valet park, even if you're staying on points. I'd never do it at Walt Disney World but for some reason it just feels very "worth it" at Aulani.

May I ask why. We are set to go march 2022 for 1st time. Renting a car. Is the parking garage hard to navigate?

It’s not that bad. We go 3 or 4 times a year and always self park. We usually head straight for the top floor, and when we leave we exit at the bottom (out towards the Four Seasons) rather than doing the lobby drive by through the main exit. I’d rather spent my $40/day at happy hour at Mina’s or Monkeypod.

Are you cash or DVC? For cash guests, valet parking and self parking cost the same so there's really no reason not to. I don't know, I just feel like Aulani is so grand and such a splurge that I want to give someone my keys and be welcomed through the lobby when I come and go rather than going in a back door.

It's just like any other parking garage IMO. We go down to the lower level so we can shoot out the side exit. We have not had any issues.

I think you will find that it is easier to park and have everyone walk with you to the room. The way it is set up is that it is a pain to drive to the front to drop off and then to circle around back to the garage. The garage is not far from the building. Have a fun trip.

Yes you can do this. Its easiest if you are in the Waianae tower, but not that much further if you are in the Ewa tower.
