renting points - two studios?

Planning a trip with my parents in early 2016. DH and I usually stay moderate, but are thinking of renting points at BWV with my parents as they would prefer deluxe. Because we would not use the kitchen area at all, we're looking at renting two studios versus a two bedroom villa due to the cost savings.

Logistically, can we rent two studios with a company like David's? Would it be with two different owners thus making it two separate reservations? Anything we would need to do differently?

At BWV, how close in proximity would two studios be to each other? We don't need them to be adjacent but would prefer them to be on the same floor.

Thanks all!

If going with Dave's It might be with 2 different owners, but might not. Even if you own DVC and wanted 2 studios, there is no guarantee about getting studios close. Ask whoever is renting for you to add the request of close or at least the same floor.
There is a rent board on here that you can look at too.

Sometimes close to Disney means on top of each other rather than on the same floor- so while adding a travel with can help it all depends on how the room assigner is working on things.

As the others have said, they won't be adjacent, but there's nothing to prevent you from requesting "on same floor, preferably close together" when you have the reservation made.

You should know that a studio at BWV will be a queen bed and a full pullout (which I just typed as pull fullout :)). That can be awesome if you are two parties of two adults - but not great if you are expecting two real beds per room.

As mentioned, you can request near each other, but it's not guaranteed. We traveled with my daughters and family and had 2 studios. Both same floor. We were at opposite ends of the resort. An owner would understand when I say I was near jelly roles facing grassy area near dumpster area and my daughter was near the tennis court, but all on the same floor! We were linked together as traveling with.

Not sure if DVC works like regular resorts, but if so we went with a large group last year and connected our reservations. We thought that would make the rooms nearby, but they weren't and the front desk told us they only put rooms nearby each other if it is specifically requested. (Even then it is obviously not guaranteed) But really it makes sense, because not every family wants their rooms next to each other. So my suggestion is request rooms on same floor or rooms nearby, whatever you want. No guarantees just requests.

just ask for the MS person who does the ( TRAVEL WITH ) ressies.
