Renting points from multiple people?

Question for any non-DVC owners who have rented points before--

Have you ever rented points from two different owners for the same trip?

I have rented before 3 times but this has never come up because I've only needed a small number of points. But next year I'm hoping to go in November (busiest DVC time from what I'm reading), want to stay in BLT, and need both a 2BR and a studio. This amounts to over 450 points. I would prefer to book at the 11 month window so I can get BLT, but finding such a high point balance from a BLT owner is going to take some luck.

Is it crazy to think about renting the 330 points needed for a 2br from one owner, and the 126 needed for the studio from someone else? If I do book with two separate owners, can I still book as "traveling with" so my two rooms are hopefully near each other?

No problem renting from more then one member if you need to. Best to look for someone showing large point count for rent. We have 1,400 points and some times rent 1,000 at a time. a member can borrow from the next year also to add to their points for your reservation. As always trust between renters is important.

There are no issues if you use a reliable renter. Also there is no problems with using two different people to book two different reservations. try to get the two reservations linked together and ask for rooms close to each other.

Thanks mikron & DVC Dude! Hopefully I will find someone with a lot of points to rent but I know as soon as that 11 month mark hits, I'm going to start getting anxious about finding something. In the past it hasn't mattered to me where we stay, but this time we will have two little kids and would love to be able to walk to the MK. Thanks for the info!
