Renting points from DVC

Hi all,
RE: renting cash points from DVC

I searched for 30 minutes. All I can find is information on renting points from DVC Members. My question is, if I come up short on points for an upcoming reservation how many cash points (and what cost) will DVC rent my shortage to me for? Is it something like 20 points? Thank you!

What you want is One Time Use points, or OTUP. You can buy them at 7 months from the reservation you want to make (edited to clarify, you can buy them at 7 months from the date you want to use them), no sooner, they cost $19 each, and you can buy up to 24 total in any given UY. You don't have to buy all 24 at once; you can make several purchases, but the maximum total is 24. You must call MS to buy; can't do online.
