Renting Points for Disney Hilton Head

Does point rental work the same at the Disney Hilton Head resort as it does for Disney resorts at DW? We have rented points for BWV but would like to look into the resort in Hilton Head. Does anyone know the name of that resort?

Yes, member would have to book reservation for you using their points through MS ( you can book it yourself as a cash reservation just as you'd do if you wanted to stay at a DVC resort at WDW that you'd pay cash for by booking through CRO )

Called Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort....usually noted HHI in posts here.

You'd probably want to rent points reservation from a member who owns points at this resort especially if you'd want to book at busier times of year so they can use their 11 month home resort booking advantage.

I just wanted to mention that depending on when you want to go, sometimes it's almost just as well to pay cash as to rent points. For example, from 10/26-12/31, a 1 BR is 17 points a night, or $164 plus tax (NOT member's discount price). And you get daily housekeeping with cash.
