Renting points for BCV?

I have to wait until June to make our reservation for a Nov trip because we will find out in June if we will be going to Ireland in Feb instead of WDW in Nov(my daughter competes in Irish Dancing). What are my chances of getting 2 studios at BCV Sun 11/5-Fri 11/10? We would rather try to get 2 studios instead of a 2 bedroom villa and buy the Dining plan. I do not cook on vacation! It doesn't matter if they are close to each other, just as long as they are at the BCV. Do you think this would be possible if I wait until June. I know the week we want to go is Jersey Wekk, do you think that will matter?

It will matter that it is Food & Wine Fest time and it will matter that it is Jersey Week. On another Board people are mentioning that there are no studios available for the week they want in October (7 month window just opened up) at BWV or BCV. Because BWV and BCV are walk in distance to the F&W fest and because they are relatively small, they book up fast for that time.

If it were me, I would book at OKW or SSR (surely something will be available there right at 7 months) and waitlist for the others.

Pretty much what it sounds like - you go on a list and if anyone cancels their reservation, you get in.

Are you renting points or are you a member? Most members won't waitlist for renters - it ties up points in a really inflexible way and is difficult to plan around. Members will often book a different resort, then waitlist for the resort they want. There are several ways to waitlist - you can waitlist for the whole trip, or day by day - chances are better with day by day, but if the whole thing doesn't come through, you could find yourself moving several times during your trip.
