Renting points and dining plan NEED ADVICE

I am renting a reservation April 11-18th so I have to make book my ADRs on October 27th. When I called the central reservation office to add another night (April 18) at the Yacht Club . I asked if I should call back on the 27th to book ADRS and the Cast member told me that I had to make all of my ADRS through DVC member services. I am not a member so I can't do that. I tried pulling up my reservation on the disney website and it would not come up. Although it does come up on the dvc website. I need to make 21 reservations on October 27th so I'm getting really nervous.
How do I go about making them?
Why can't I make them on-line??
I didn't have the renter add the plan yet because I wanted to wait to see if I could get all the reservations that I wanted before I booked the Deluxe Plan.
Should I just add it and take the chance?
If I don't have the plan booked when I book the ADRS what will happen ?(I'm booking for 10-so I need to book on the 27th) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to make them online.

Go to the disney website. Click on book and then dining.

Call up the first restaurant and click book a reservation.

When you get the screen where you enter the date, the line above the date box is where you can retrieve the reservation (over on the right).

If all else fails, you can call the regular dining # to make your reservations, you don't have to call DVC.

The only issue you will have with the dining plan is if you reserve a restaurant that requires a credit card, like Cinderella's Table. You could have the member add it, then delete it later if you change your mind.
