renting points/ADR's

We are renting points from a DVC owner for our April vacation and doint the dining plan. I will be able to make our ADR's on October 27th when the 180 day window opens back up. My question is, can I go online to book my reservations and do I need to provide my reservation number on my confirmation sheet that the owner sent me? Is there any other information that I will need to make my reservations online? Thanks in advance!!
