Renting park scooter question

I know when you rent a scooter in the parks that you get a few dollars back when you return it,but what about on the nights of the Christmas Party,will they still be open to return it if you stay till the park closes? I know things are different with stroller rentals and people just leave them and don't take them back because they don't get any money back,but was just wondering about scooters.

They are open until the last Guest is leaving the Park. They have to have people there so they can get everything ready for the next morning.
