Renting Out Points

There are others out there, but there is at least one which can not be discussed here on the DIS.

The DVC store, www.dvcstore.com has a rental component.

As someone who has rented in the past I have always just used the forums here or through another forum that is out there

Just do it yourself on the DIS and then you can work with your renter if there is a problem.

But also make it clear what you will or won't do. We have several people on these boards upset that an owner hasn't been proactive about updates on operations, won't refund a cancel for points expiring July 31, etc. etc.

With one exception, I have always rented my extra points on the Rent/Trade forum. I also use a contract that spells out details of the arrangement.

DVC requires a contract when points are rented.
