I have never done it before, but I have expiring points this year. Those that rent out their points do you use a contract?

If you read your Public Offering Statement, you will see that it requires that you have a contract when you rent your points.

I wanted to rent for the first time and didn't want to have a contract or deal with any issues so I contacted David's vacation rental he takes care of everything so you don't have to worry about it.
He had my points rented within a week.

Don't you have to add David's as an associate on your membership? Not sure how comfortable I am doing that.

David finds and vets the renter. He checks availability. He then contacts members who want to rent out their points. The member makes the ressie in the renter's name. David does not need to touch your membership. All contact between the renters and members is done through David

That hasn't been true for years. That was the "old" model though, at one time.

It was really easy and I would do it again, you can get more $ per point if you do it yourself but I didn't want the hassle.
Doing a transfer is easy too.

Yes I use a rental contract to cover myself in case anything happens. I would be happy to send you a sample of what my contract to give you an idea what the contract should include.

When you use David rentals bothered the renter and rentee diggs contracts.

It's a very easy hassle free service where you get prompt payment. We rented and received payment from David within 24 hours of contacting them. I m happy to pay for this level of service.

i can also vouch far David's... i had 69 points expiring and wanted to just rent them as i wouldn't be going until the fall. David's had them rented for me in 4 days. Done and Done!

i could have made an extra $1 a point doing it myself, but i didn't want the hassle this was easier.
