Does anyone know what forms PayPal send to the federal government, for taxes? Thanks.

They'll send a 1099-MISC if you exceed a threshold (which used to be $20k and more than 200 income transactions about 10 years ago). I don't know whether the threshold has been modified, or eliminated.

I have rented my extra points several times. Most recently to the same person about four times over five years. I use a contract to clarify agreement. since it is the same person, and I do not have a lot of effort of using the rent/trade board, I only charge $13 per point. If I were using the rent/trade board, I think I would ask for $15 per point.

I rented my HGVC week and had to fill out a W-9 form for Hilton to pay me. I think I'll probably get a 1099 from them in January for the rental.
