I am pretty sure that I read somewhere that you can rent out a ride for the wedding party to ride. While I was in the long line for Toy Story Mania I started to wonder what astronomical price they charge to do this. Does anyone know? If I had unlimited means I would totally rent out toy story mania.

you would also then be having an event after hours at DHS and be paying to run the ride, so just the ride itself (like that alone would be so affordable!! :lmao:) isn’t the only cost.

i would guestimate the wedding event alone for a nominal amount of people would begin in the 50K range, with the ride aspect (assuming that is one that you can do) being additional tens (and tens and tens) of thousands!

happy planning??!? :thumbsup2

Back in 2008 when we were originally planning, we wanted to rent out Tower of Terror and have our wedding in the courtyard area. I think it was something crazy like 12k for just the ride, then the site fees which were equally as ridiculous, etc....

I would have done it if we had unlimited means.

The price of renting out Toy Story Mania is $8,500. For the corresponding event you'd need to be holding, the venue fee is $2,000, while the food and beverage minimum is $5,000.

If you really want to do it up, the entertainment package of Sarge, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, a DJ and the Hot Wheels car costs $4,695. Additional Pixar characters can be added at $900 for one, $1,350 for two, or $1,800 for three. Green Army Men come in sets of three: $1,800 for one set, $2,150 for two.

The alternative is to do what's called a "ride mix-in"... this is where your group is escorted to the head of the line to ride during regular park operating hours, and it's $15/person. In that scenario, you'd be having an event somewhere else in the park and do the ride on the way to or from the party.

We did the mix in with Impressions at France... and we exited out back of the gift shop to our tour bus and limo as our "grand exit" from our France/Bistro Wedding.

fast passes for everyone!!

lurkyloo - assuming this were something someone was planning, do those charges still apply when it is a DFTW event? doesn’t the wedding title trigger all the minimums etc? and i wonder if they’s let you hire out say alice and stitch to come to TSMM for example? probably not.... popcorn::

Thanks lurkyloo, how long do you have the rented out ride for if you pay the big bucks to do it?
