I can find plenty of info on the "sprites", but we want to rent a speedboat or a plontoon boat for about an hourand cruise around the lakes. Anyone have any idea on rates?

(Sorry, this posted twice and I can't delete!)

We did this last year...I believe the cost is about $50-$60 per hour for a pontoon boat. You can also rent for 1/2 hour for around $30 but personally I don't think that's enough time to really relax. We also brought a lunch with us. Very peaceful.

I rented a pontoon boat from the CBR for a half hour. At the CBR a half hour was a good amount of time because it was a small lake. I would suggest that you rent from one of the resorts on the lagoon. There are much better views there and a lot more to see.

Thanks everyone!

WE'll be staying at WL, so will have plenty of places to go. Wonder if "exploring" on Discovery Island is permitted?;)

This is the only info I kept from our last trip: The plontoon boat fee was $34.90 for ½ hour.

We did the 4 hour plan for $113. plus tax which includes the mouse boats and the plontoon boats...good deal!

If you're staying at a resort that rents boats, you might want to think about paying for the Family Fun watersports package.

The package is $199.00 plus tax and is good for your length of stay for up to five people. This covers whatever boats they have for rent.

We used this last month at the GF and it was well worth it!
