renting golf carts

Just an FYI for anyone interested . Kenny does do deliveries and pick-ups on Sundays .
Just waiting to see if he has any rentals left for our dates (in 2 weeks ! )
Have a cart reserved with the Fort for a fall back , but would rather save a few $$$ , and support a local . We already give Disney enough of our $$$ , lol .

Edit - No luck with Kenny for us . We planned this trip last minute , and he had no carts left for our timeframe . Guess its going to have to be a "cant find my green FW golf cart" for us lol .

We always used Kenny until we bought a toy hauler & brought our own GC. Kenny was easy to deal with. We always meet him in a parking lot that a Dunken Donut was in!!

Another nice thing about Kenny's is that they can sometimes coordinate a hand off right at the Fort. Over New Year's, we picked it up from the Outpost parking lot from someone that had left it there and then we dropped it off to some other people at another site when we left. The cart's battery wasn't the greatest but we had a 6 person cart for a little less than the Fort's 4-person one.

Oh no, please don't remind me!! We were supposed to pick it up from the people who disappeared. That fire pit certainly made the rounds before it found its forever home!

Bless its heart. I had it for about a week on 1402. She had obviously seen some really hot fires. The plastic tires were partially melted in different locations and made it practically impossible to roll around.

Bring something to put on the cart that's colorful like a couple leis or a wind sock so your green Disney cart sticks out. Weeven make sure we put something on our cart when we rent from Kenny.

I agree "personalizing" your Disney GC makes it easier to find, but I've also seen posts about getting back after a long day of Disney only to step off the bus at the Transpo center to find someone has taken the wrong golf cart...namely yours.

I've toyed with the idea of making a steering wheel cover that is embroidered with "NOT YOUR GOLF CART" to help the offending thief camper realize they're stealing taking the wrong cart. But then I get back home and promptly forget until the next time I'm at FW.

small Pirate flag on the rear post, an old towel to wipe seats placed on the steering wheel and in storage area, water bottle in the cup holder. 12 trips and we have never "lost" a Fort Cart. FYI did Kenny one year, back when he could deliver, kind of a PITA when it came to delivery and pick up, we had a 2 hour window. I like to set up and go, not wait for 2 hours for a delivery {and pick up}, it was a nice cart though, real fast and had wet weather "curtains" that zipped up, it was in June so very appreciated. Now we just do FW carts, now that the kids are doing their own trips (campers and POP), we can afford it, LOL!
