Renting from Car Care Center

I need a car for one day to go from POFQ to Legoland for my son's birthday.

Does anyone know what time the Alamo/National shuttle from the Car Care Center starts running? I know to "Call an hour before" but does that mean they won't start picking up until 7 if they open at 6? How much time should it take that early in the morning (guesstimates from people who rent cars more often than I would be helpful)? Is the shuttle free (I was assuming, but then realized it doesn't actually say anywhere)?

I know they have late drop off at The Swan (because you can leave it with the concierge), I'm assuming they don't at the Car Care Center, is that correct?

Is the shuttle the only way to get to and from the Car Care Center (well, other than the car I'm renting, I mean)? No Disney busses?

(I've pretty much decided that a one day rental is the way to go for us as far as rental place operating times and our other plans, though if anyone has any other ideas, I'd be happy to hear them).

You can call the day before. I believe the shuttle starts at 6am. If you call the day before, you should be able to be picked up early.

You can always take a cab to the CCC, no busses to there.

Yes, they have late drop off.

Mon - Fri 6:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm

There is an aluminum drop box for keys. Available from closing the night before until opening the next day. It is on the web site. But, there will not be a shuttle to return you to your resort, probably would need to take a cab.
