Renting from budget????

Hi all! Everyone talks about having their spouse or friend drop them off at the port and then returning the car to budget. What about the end of the cruise? Does the entire party go to budget or just one person go get the car and then come back and get everyone?

I guess it depends on whether or not you want to be bothered with your luggage when u are going bk 2 Budget. I am going 2 drop off everyone b4 the car but I am also unsure about return. How is the weather in Denton, my sister lives in Corinth.

I dropped off family & came back solo on the shuttle when we began our cruise.

We all went back to Budget after the cruise. If there had only been room for only one of us then I would have went & came back to the terminal to get rest of family, but that wasn't the case.

We have 3 people and just got back from the cruise. We all went both times. Budget had a van with us and another couple all going on dcl wonder then coming home the 3 of us got on the van again and we were the only ones on the van. No need for seperate trips..

When you exit the ship, your whole party has to be together as you clear customs (that's because you do one form per family). So there's no real time savings by sending someone ahead. If there was a large wait for the van, I would have jumped into the van while DH waited with the luggage and the kids and come back to get him, but it wasn't necessary.

soleglo, the weather in Denton is rainy tonight. We have a cold front coming through tomorrow and will be down do 30. Ugh! But it's going to warm back up to 70 by the following weekend. Crazy weather here in Tx.
