We bought last Spring but have not tried DVC yet. We are going in Dec!!

Where can I rent DVD's at the BCV?

What kind of selection do they have?

What is the cost?

Rental is free for DVC members...an oxymoron there I guess!

You check DVDs out at the shop at BC...very convenient to BCV.

My son loved picking out two DVDs each day but he was looking at Disney and I think family type titles. I thought the selection was good. They have large notebooks for perusal. It was great for my guy whose verbal skills are very, very limited.

They probably have 75-100 titles but we've found that they have not added to the collection since BCV opened. They don't seem to get any newer movies at all.

Also, the DVD players are in the 1 and 2 bedroom units only. There are NO DVD players in the studios. We took my son's Playstation along and hooked it up so we could watch DVDs.

I've never been in the BCV but I'm guessing by the conversation that they have DVD players. Do the BWV 1 brms. have a DVD player also? I've only seen VCR's.

Thanks.

We used the DVD player to put our 4 year old to bed every night..... All 3 of us in the pullout. LOL.

We found that the return policy, at 10:00 a.m. was too early for us (I know, don't even mention Early Entry, but with the time zone change and such, we just don't make it).

So this time I'm going to bring 1 or 2 with us.... She falls asleep anyway after 30 minutes, and doesn't mind watching the same one over and over.....

Otherwise, maybe you could rent some and bring them with you, or use Netflix with the mailers.

Just some ideas....

Have you tried the Disney Books-on-video series the Disney television's have? Last year, when we stayed at OKW, my kids fell asleep to a story every night, I did not need to check a movie out. They had Toy Story, the Little Mermaid, Tarzan and maybe other's I can't recall. They played in a loop. They had a spanish version on some of them also.

Good to know about the DVD palyers, I can bring some from home. (for me and DH to watch when the kids fall asleep)
