Renting DVC

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone knew if you rent a resort room through a DVC owner and want to have them add the dining plan, do you also have to purchase tickets like you would have to through Disney, or can you just have the dining plan added and buy your tickets seperatly? What's the rule here?

I do have a follow up question. If this is the case then when I would check into the resort and the reservation has been put under my name, I will have a KTTWC that would have my dining and room already loaded on it correct? Could I, at check in, have my seperatly purchased tickets loaded on the KTTWC at this time? Also why does Disney make you purchase dining only as a package with room and tix when DVC members can just add dining only? Just curious why this is policy. Thanks again

Disney wants to sell you tickets when you are a cash customer so they force you to bundle.

DVC doesn't so most of us use an AP if we have more than one trip planned in a year or we buy our tickets from UT.

Yes you can add you ticket to your card or band.
