Renting DVC points w/ Special Needs requests...

I am about to rent some points from a DVC member at the Boardwalk Villas. We are getting a 2BR.

My question is, since the DVC member is the only one who can make and discuss reservations, how do you go about making sure that special needs requests get passed along to the right people? I know when you book through Disney directly, you are able to call special needs and they block out a room for you. What's the best way to make sure we get what we need for medical reasons?

Yes typically only the DVC member can make requests, so it would be important to supply you needs in writing to make sure it is clear
