Renting DVC Points-How? When? Where?

That depends on the person you are renting from. One of mine I paid upfront, the other I paid 50% upfront then the rest once I received the physical confirmation from Disney for my reservation.

Yes, but maybe only at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West. The Epcot-area resorts are *extremely* popular during the Food & Wine Festival and usually fill up between 11 months and 7 months beforehand.

Thanks, I forgot it was the food and wine festival in October. I really wanted to stay at Bay Lake Tower but I guess Old Key West or Saratoga Springs would be fine

Caroline - it will probably be cheaper booking Old Key West or Saratoga Springs with Disney UK - as there is a 44% discount offer on there until mid December - worth a look

I just took a look and OKW is £808 on Disney World UK, do I need a discount code or somehting

No..it should come up - I've done a dummy booking and with the discount it works out at £99.57 for a studio per night - so you can use this figure to compare with DVC rental points.

I think the only difference is booking with disney uk your rooms get cleaned everyday unlike when you book using DVC points

I can only get a price for a one bedroom villa, that's why it's more expensive. OKW studio's must be all booked up on the dates that I wanna go Thanks for the tip though.
