:goodvibes My family and I are renting points at the BWV's this Saturday! YAY! I have added the DDP. Now I am wondering about the park tickets. I have previously purchased these (10 day hoppers) Does the DDP have to be in conjuntion with park tickets purchased thru the hotel at checkin? OR are we going to be okay with our previously purchased hoppers? Here I am crossin' my fingers!

You are fine! DVC owners/renters are the only ones allowed to add DDP without having to have tickets associated with them. You are all set! Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

PS. You did add the plan through DVC Member Services right? I think you have to do that BEFORE you arrive. Not sure, but if you have added these already you should be set.

Actually, the member would have to add the dining plan for the non-owner. If you don't own the points, you can't call MS.

I was able to call MS myself and add it......They said that there was no problem. :confused3 Hmmmm maybe I better call again and double check. :)

Are you a member??? I'm confused here because if you are not a member, MS should not be accepting any calls from you. If they are doing that again, we have a problem, Houston.

Deb & Bill,

I have no doubt MS is taking calls from nonmembers on an inconsistent basis. Every time I call there lately, I get different answers to the same issue. Today I was told you must cancel DDP before arrival if you want to do that. A few days ago I was told it could be cancelled at check in. Today I was directed by a CM to "the place on the member web site that says you can't cancel at check in." I found it, and guess what, it doesn't say that.

I know this is well OT, but I have no doubt MS took care of this nonmember's problem.

WHat I would like to say to the OP is that as a renter you can get DDP at DVC if you pay for it. Since you are obviously paying to rent, its the obligation of your owner to make sure you have what you need. Please call him or her and s/he should make sure you have it.

Good luck! :goodvibes
