Where are the reputable places to rent points?

It's pretty difficult to get anyone that has VGC (Villas at Grand Californian) points for rent via brokers because most of them can get $20/point renting on their own. If you are willing to try for a one bedroom, you can see if someone is willing to rent points at the 7 month mark with non-VGC points.

Check the rental board here. There are also reservations for rent via the board sponsor. Keep in mind that if you have to cancel, you won't get your money back. Some people buy travel insurance to cover their rental costs.

Second the "check out the boards here." I've both rented my points and rented from other owners and had great experiences!

I own at VGC and have rented my own points last minute to friends whose request didn’t come through on the rental sites. 1000% I would rent my own points here on the boards before I would ever sell them to a rental site. (Also it is uncommon for me to rent them because I LOVE my home resort so much)
