In January, we are traveling to Disney with our daughter who will be 7 months old. This is her second time at Disney since we brought her in October when she was only 3 months old. This time, things are going to be a little bit different for us as she is much for mobile. I know that I have heard in the past that there are agencies that rent baby equipment, like high chairs and exersaucers. I was wondering if anyone has used any of these services and if they have any recommendations. Thanks for the help!

No need to rent a highchair as every Disney resort offers it -- and each DVC unit I've stayed in (1 or 2 brs at least) had one in the closet. I've rented baby tubs, full size cribs, etc. from A Baby's Best Friend www.abbf.com several times over the past few years and they've come through as promised each time. Many on the DIS Families board have had similar experiences. There are other Orlando area companies listed on this site http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/baby-equipment-rentals.htm if you want to call and compare.

I've also used A Baby's Best Friend several times in the past and loved them.

Is that true about the DVCs having high chairs? We're staying for the first time in a DVC at the end of this month and I've rented a high chair, not realizing they were provided.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the high chairs provided are the wooden kind that you slide up to a table, like in a restaurant. We are thinking of renting a regular baby highchair, like the type we use at home, becuase we think this might be more comfortable for our daughter since she is still so small. If you have any older child, then the wooden kind is probably fine. Thanks for all of the info!

Yes, the highchairs provided are the wooden types typically found in restaurants. My 6 month old had no trouble with it. He sat there the whole time during our meals. But if you don't like that then ABBF and other outside rental places have other options.

Just make sure you know your baby when it comes to rental stuff...some kiddos are VERY particular about their "stuff" and won't sleep in a foreign crib, etc.

Have a great trip!

And while all the villas come with a pack and play, they also have a few full sized cribs on a first come basis.

We did use a Baby;s Best Friend when our little one was 4 months old.

I give them my recommendation.
