I am planning a trip in November 2013. We will be staying in a camper at Ft. Wilderness. I have a mobility problem, 3 foot surgeries. I can walk but I know I will not be able to handle all the walking. From all I have read renting an ecv is the way to go. I am wondering if there is going to be a problem with them letting me get one as I will be staying in a camper and most likely will have to leave it under the canopy at night. Does anyone have any experience with renting an ecv and staying at the campground? Thanks

I have heard of people renting them while staying at the campgrounds. As long as it was protected from the elements, I don't see it being a big deal. Something though that you might want to bring is an extra tarp or even a lawn tractor cover, just to give it a bit of extra protection when at the camper. As long as you do that, you should be fine.
