Renting AKL points owing OKW

If I rent AKL points for a trip at the end of November can I book at the 11 month window or do I have to wait until 7 months.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying. Are you a DVC member? Who owns at OKW? And you want to stay at AKV on AKV points?

If you rent points, you can't do anything with the points. Nothing. Only the member who owns the points can do anything with them. Renting them does not transfer ownership to you.

If you have AKV points transferred to your account, you may use them to reserve at AKV for the 11 month window. As you know, you may not use any of your OKW points at AKV until the 7 month window opens.

if you transfer in october 2012 AKV pts (that expire 9/30/13 unless you bank them), then they remain october 2012 AKV pts (that expire 9/30/13 unless you bank them.

you can use them to book AKV at 11 months out...but you could not use them to book OKW until the 7 month window.

So you own OKW AND had OKW points transferred in? If that's the case, you do still have to wait until 7 months to use those for AKV. If you had someone's AKV points transferred in to your account, those points would be available to use at the 11 month window at AKV, but only the transferred in points. Your own OKW points still could not be used until the 7 month window.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question.
