Renting a tux

What is the best way to go about this? Is there anywhere that will deliver it to your room? We live in Illinois and are going down the day before the wedding and that is it. There are many places around here to get measured so we just planned on getting measured and then ordering it there.

Are there places that deliver to the rooms?

Or is it better to drive to a place and get it?

What place do you recommend?

We are using Carolyn Allens. They have been easy to work with so far and they come to the room for a fitting and deliver/pickup the tux as well.

Carolyn Allen's is the BEST way to do it! Get your fitting at any tux place and place your order online or over the phone. They do it all, the fitting the day before and the delivery and pick-up! You don't have to do anything but be there! Good luck! They also do gown steaming! And they are FAB!

How affordable are they? Can you pick out ahead of time what they have? We will be arriving the 18th afternoon and then getting married on the 19th at 2:30. Can they still do that?

Go to carolynallens.com. You can finds lots of info there, as well as their contact information to call them with any additional questions. I am also using them for my gown steamings. I am shipping them down (next week ! eek) and they will bring them to our room and steam them the same time they are fitting the guys for their tuxes. Great package deal and all around service. That way I don't have to lug my dress in a carry-on or worry about it getting lost in checked luggage. Good luck !
