Renting a stroller advice

Our DD is a big 5 yr. old, and we're planning to rent a stroller as needed. My question is what (besides a dirty-looking diaper) can we tie onto the stroller to keep it from disappearing? I know that we can go to the front of the park and get another, but that's a hassle. Thanks!

When you rent a stroller in the parks you write your name on a piece of paper and then slide it into a plastic pocket on the back of of the stroller. We have never had any issue w/ anyone mistaking our stroller for theirs.
We usually hang our bookbag on the handles of our stroller. If you won't be bringing in a bag you could always tie a bandana around the handle.

We always tied bright fat ribbons on the handle. Made it easy to see from far away and I could always tell where 'our' rented stroller was. (I do the same for our luggage at airports and it works great!!)

When we went a couple of trips ago, our was "swiped" more than once. They just remove the piece of paper. I'll try putting bright ribbons on, or a bandana.... sounds good

We used the Disney rental strollers at Disneyland a few weeks ago. Never had a problem with people taking the stroller however I wish I would have brought some ribbon or something like it to tie to the handle for easy identification. Sometimes the stroller gets moved or you may just forget exactly where you parked it and it does make it a lot easier to find if you put something on it to personalize it. I would suggest some cheap ribbon or a bright bandana... something that wouldn't make you mad if someone walked off with it anyway. Hopefully, it won't be a big problem for you though!

What about non-rentals, any chance they go missing?

I was at Disney back in 2002, but my daughter was only 6 months, so she never really left it to go on a ride.

Now with number 2, I wonder if parking it causes any issues?

On the Creative DISigns boards there are stroller tags you can customize.

Some disers go as far as to laminate them before the trip and then put them on with zip ties. I don't know how they get them off at the end of the day.
