Renting a SeaRaycer

How much did it cost? Was it per half hour or something? Sounds like a fun thing to do!

We rent them every visit and one of the highlights of every trip. So much fun!

My husband and I do it every time we go. We love taking them around Seven Seas Lagoon. It’s per half hour and then you can add 15 minute increments after that. It’s $32.00 for a half hour.

Thanks for the info. We have so much planned already for our October trip but I might have to mention this to Dh

It’s $32 for a 1/2 and $45 for a full hour. It was so much fun I’ll certainly do it next time I’m back.

Not sure how I never knew about these but stumbled across them today at the Grand Floridian. By Disney standards or anyone else’s, they were extremely affordable and a ton of fun. Will certainly do it again when I return, so hoping they are running in November.

My girls do them every time we go as its always the one thing they ask to do. We also take a pontoon boat out for a ride once in a while. Why would you think they won't have them running in November its a year round
activity. They also rent them at CR,POLY,WL,BC/YC and Fort Wilderness. Up until 2014ish they also used to have them at POR,OKW and CBR if I'm not mistaken

Do you just need a drivers license?

You don’t even need that. Drivers must be at least 12 years of age and at least 5 feet tall. Younger Guests may ride as passengers. Maximum weight: 320 pounds. Parent or guardian signature required for all drivers 12 to 18 years of age.

They are really neat.

Do they go pretty fast?

I can’t wait to try these...I plan on renting one on the day we switch over to the Poly. My daughter and I are super excited at possibly getting some glimpses of River Country!

You’ll love it! Highly recommend having your camera/phone out. We have the best collection of photos/ videos taken over the years on these.

Do they have jet skis to rent too?

As pp stated yes they do but its done in a specific rectangle area buoyed off on Bay Lake. That is an area where they do jet skis, wake boarding, tubing and parasailing...yes parasailing single or tandem!!
If you want more information go on WDW.com and put in search box Sammy Duvall as that's the company that runs all watersports.

They go pretty quick, I was surprised. A nice cruising speed. My son drove when he was 13 the first time we got them and I sat next to him. They’re super easy to handle.

Depends on which one you get as they are governed and some are slower than others. There have been times we needed to change as it went to slow. Of course weight does have a little to do with the speed

I want to do this on one of our non-park days in a few weeks! Did you make a reservation or is it walk up only?

We always just walk up..:crutches: ….when it comes to parasailing flights if I remember they are every half hour and they state like everything else in Disney reservations are highly recommended
but when my cousin wanted to do it we just walked up.
