I'm sure if I hunt around I can find the answer to this, but I'm limited in my internet connetion right now. In fact, I have to run to Dunkin Donuts for WiFii if I need something..... lol!
I'll be going to the World in October and just trying to get my budget in order. How much do the scooters in the parks cost daily? I don't need to get a weekly scooter. I have RSD, which is chronic nerve pain and too much walking causes pain and I start looking for a bench after just an hour of being on my feet. But I have to walk to keep mobile. So the best solution to me would be just rent a scooter while in I'm in the parks.
My other issue is the water parks. I had a broken ankle several years ago and those low beach chairs just don't work for me. I don't plan on doing alot of walking, the kids can go do thier thing and I'll stay seated. But I've never seen regular chairs except at the eating areas. What does everyone suggest?
I took the kids to Seasame Place, it's a very small park. So I thought I'd be okay. But I didn't think I'd make it back to the car, the pain was so bad. They sell thier tickets as a 2 day pass. So we went back the second time and I ended up renting a wheel chiar so i'd have something to sit in when the kids were on the rides. It worked well, although I felt stupid pushing an empty wheel chair around.
Looking forward to hearing everyones suggestions.
