dh had foot surgery at the end of march and is still in a boot. we have come to the realization that he will need to use a ecv while we are at wdw. do we need to bring any medical note or documentation with us? he is going to his dr this week and hopefully will be out of the boot, but I'm sure he won't be able to walk an entire day at wdw. Thanks!

Hi...in the parks ECV's are $40 (refundable $5 inc). they only do it on a first come first served, if you go to another park same day and they have any left you just hand your reciept over with $5 and you can get another one.

Hi, and :welcome: to DisBoards and disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including where people rent ECVs.

You are probably much better off with an off-site rental.

Also, nothing from a doctor is required, and actually it is illegal to ask for proof.
